Com and LL. B from the University of Mysore and an MBA from Karnataka State Open University

As Administrator, she supports administrative systems, coordination processes, documentation, and day-to-day operational functioning. Ms. Shobha Fernandes holds a Bachelor of Arts with a specialisation in Office Practice and Management from St. Agnes College, Mangalore University.

Rajveer brings over 12 years of experience in the development sector, with the last 8 years dedicated to SATHI's outreach work on railway platforms in Pune. Through his patience, intuition, and commitment, he has played a key role in rescuing and restoring hundreds of vulnerable children to safe environments. Rajveer has strong expertise in networking and building effective collaborations with government departments and other stakeholders. He holds a Master in Social Work from Jabalpur University.

Govind brings over 12 years of experience working with several organizations in diverse capacities within the development sector. At SATHI, he works across the railway outreach and shelter teams in Pune., where he is known for his dedication to supporting children in the most challenging circumstances. His perseverance, empathy, and child-centred approach have helped many vulnerable children access protection and care. Govind holds a Master's degree from the University of Delhi and remains committed to safeguarding the rights and well-being of children.

Lata is a dedicated member of SATHI's shelter and counselling team, where she patiently builds trust with children to help them feel safe enough to share their stories and reconnect with their families. She works closely with children who have experienced trauma, loss, or distress, offering compassionate care and emotional support throughout their recovery. Alongside her counselling work, Lata is highly skilled in art and craft, using creative activities as a therapeutic tool to help children express themselves, build confidence, and find joy. Her empathy, creativity, and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable part of SATHI's mission to protect and support vulnerable children.

Family Tracing Specialist

Saroj has been with SATHI for over 18 years and is a specialist in family tracing and restoration. He handles some of the organization's most complex cases, where children have little or no information about their families, using his keen observation and years of experience to piece together small but vital clues. His perseverance has led to the successful restoration of many children, even in cases that have taken years to resolve. Saroj also has extensive experience in organizing de-addiction camps and supporting children through rehabilitation and recovery. Saroj is deeply committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to return to a safe and caring environment. He is a graduate from Bhimrao University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

Jayanta Patra is an experienced multi-sectoral development professional with 15+ years of experience in the social sector, working across diverse contexts to advance inclusion, equity, and the rights and well-being of marginalized communities.

His core areas of work include inclusive education, child rights, social inclusion, people-centred advocacy, livelihoods, social protection, and environmental sustainability. Over the years, Jayanta has worked with grassroots, national, and international NGOs in various capacities, while also contributing to and strengthening several state- and national-level thematic networks.

Hailing from Odisha, India, Jayanta is a Ford Fellow and holds an MA in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University, USA. Jayanta has also completed a course in Human Rights at Harvard University, USA.
